ColorSeal™

ColorSeal™ is a clear easy to use topcoat with very low non-aggressive co-solvents in its chemical makeup. This product is excellent as a barrier and finish coat over glazes, artwork and sensitive color work. It seals the decorative finish without disruption and prepares the surface to accept a tougher, more durable topcoat if needed.

- May be thinned with water up to 20%.
- Always make a sample to ensure the desired result.
- Use ColorSeal™ to seal Custom Art Imprints™. Allow Custom Art Imprints™ and Imprint Coat™ to dry for 24-28 hours before applying ColorSeal™. (If less time is available, use SetCoat® Clear (AquaSeal™) instead, coating the Custom Art Imprint™ immediatly after after it has been applied)
Basic Application
- Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
- Using a brush, roller or spray unit, apply one coat of ColorSeal™. This product has a tendency to sag if applied too generously. One thin, even coat is usually sufficient.
- ColorSeal™ takes slightly longer to dry than other topcoats (depending on drying conditions).
- Allow ample drying time before applying a second coat of ColorSeal™, AquaGard™, AquaThane™, or C-500 Urethane™.

Other Notes
ColorSeal™ is used as a pre-sealer over sensitive artwork or glazed surfaces; however it does need to be top coated with AquaThane™, AquaGard™, or C-500 Urethane™.
