AquaCreme™ (formerly known as MasterCreme™) is a breakthrough in the world of glazing mediums. Clarity, increased open time, excellent working characteristics and durability are just a few of the unique features of AquaCreme™. When used in conjunction with FauxCrème Color™, AquaCreme™ allows the artisan to execute detailed finishes using translucent layers of color. AquaCreme™ can be manipulated to an almost dry state, which permits dry brushing and precision smooth blending. It is a perfect medium for advanced finishing techniques such as marbling and wood graining

Product Tips
- Use over SetCoat® base for maximum workability.
- It is unnecessary to apply a barrier coat between layers, but each layer must be fully dry. One thin coat of ColorSeal™ may be applied to isolate the color layers.
- AquaCreme™ is an excellent stain for furniture, cabinets, trim work, and concrete. Rub on with Cheesecloth or terry cloth. Let dry, then topcoat with AquaGard™, then a stronger topcoat if necessary.
- No drip, no mess formulation makes AquaCreme™ perfect on vertical surfaces.
- For best results, tint with FauxCrème Color™ or FauxColor™ only. AquaCreme™ may be tinted with universal tints and water-based artisan colors at your own risk.
- AquaCreme™ is a full-bodied translucent artisan medium that provides excellent flow out of color work and slow drying workability with superior wood graining and marbling capabilities.
Basic Application
- Apply 2 coats of SetCoat® or SetCoat® Clear to seal the work surface.
- To create a translucent Créme glaze, mix AquaCreme™ with the desired amount of FauxCrème Color™. Adjust the depth of the color by varying the amount of FauxCrème Color™ added. For a darker, more intense glaze, add more pigment, for a lighter, softer color, add less pigment.
- Brush, spray or roll the glaze on to the work surface. Bag, sponge or pounce the glaze to eliminate any application tool marks. Soften some areas with a terry cloth and dry brush out.
- If applying a second layer of glaze, let the first layer dry 24 hours (or more depending on the conditions)
- Repeat the above procedure with the second glaze color mixture.
- For additional durability, apply a topcoat of ColorSeal™. Increased protection can be achieved with additional coats of AquaGard™ or AquaThane™.
