SpatterAdd™ is a water-based, clear in appearance paint additive that when added to water-based paints or other water-based finishing materials allows it to decoratively spatter when applied by spray. Add 10% to 50% SpatterAdd™ to paint material; the more SpatterAdd™, the larger the spatter size and pattern. SpatterAdd™ may be added to all Faux Effects™ products.

  • Use low pressure, larger fluid tip for low pressure spray.
  • Prepare test sample as proof before application.
  • Add about 8 ounces per quart to achieve the desired low pressure spray spatter spray results. Mix slowly by hand into water-based paint materials.
  • Use large fluid cap and adjust air pressure lower to achieve the desired spatter.
