  • To spray, thin up to 20% with water.
  • Because of its ability to resist staining or marring, AquaThane™ is excellent for kitchen cabinets, trim, tabletops and floors.
  • Can be used as a final clear topcoat over concrete for maximum durability. The concrete should first be coated with SetCoat® (AquaBond™) or AquaGard™ for superior bonding and penetration of the substrate.
  • On floors and walkways use a minimum of 2 coats of AquaThane™ over SetCoat® or AquaGard™.
  • Clean the work surface, removing any dust or debris.
  • Using a brush, roller or spray unit, apply 2 even coats of AquaThane™. The best results are obtained by spraying the product.
  • Because AquaThane™ has strong co-solvent properties, it is best to apply a coat of ColorSeal™ or AquaGard™ first. Allow this barrier coat to dry before proceeding with AquaThane™. This will prevent the disruption of any sensitive color glazing or artwork.
  • Permit AquaThane™ to dry for approximately 4-6 hours between coats.
  • Allow AquaThane™ to cure for 72 hours before polishing or rubbing smooth with steel wool or polishing compounds.
  • V.O.C. compliant
  • Non-Yellowing
  • Chemically Resistant, including alcohol
  • Resists marring
  • Anti-Sagging Qualities
  • Store in a cool, dry location to prolong shelf life.
  • Do not apply in temperatures below 55° F or in damp, cold or humid conditions
  • Technical product- training through Faux Masters Studio workshop recomended

Utilizing Faux Effects® Rubbing Compound™ to polish will increase gloss to full potential. Great on table tops and floors!
